NEWS RELEASE

Daryl Boling celebrates LGBTQ Pride Month

Daryl Boling celebrates June as LGBTQ Pride Month and calls upon elected officials to ensure equality and full rights.

Huntingdon Valley, Pa. June 21, 2018 - June is LGBTQ Pride Month and Daryl Boling, the Democratic Candidate for State Representative, used this opportunity to call upon legislators to secure full rights for members of the LGBTQ community.

Boling praised the two municipalities within the borders of the 152nd District that have passed measures combatting anti-LGBTQ discrimination. But, he also challenged other municipalities to follow suit and reaffirmed his full support for a statewide anti-discrimination bill.

“While we have made progress in 48 municipalities in this great Commonwealth, we need to guarantee statewide protection and equality for our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ community. HB 1410 can go along way in preventing anti-LGBTQ discriminiation, if it ever makes its way to the floor,” Boling said.

Our current Republican State Representative has expressed his opposition to gay marriage, as displayed by his responses to the Archdiocese questionnaire in 2012.
